Minerals
Major Minerals: Calcium (Ca) - Magnesium (Mg) - Potassium (K) – Sodium (Na)
These four minerals control our body's sympathetic and parasympathetic
nervous systems. The sympathetic nervous system (SNS) controls our fight or
flight response mechanism. The parasympathetic system (PSNS) controls our rest
and digest response mechanism.
CALCIUM stimulates and MAGNESIUM inhibits the Sympathetic Nervous System
POTASSIUM stimulates and SODIUM inhibits the Parasympathetic Nervous System
An overly acid system will have too much calcium and sodium, and not enough
magnesium and potassium. A person that is acidic is likely prone to ranting and
raving, hyperactive, quick to anger, moving too fast, burning out.
Here we have a double whammy: acidic tissues that block oxygen absorption,
and overly alkaline blood that holds oxygen and cannot release it. How can
anything survive in this environment? Through anaerobic fermentation! What
ferments anaerobically (without oxygen)? Yeast, mold and fungus. Since
cancer thrives in an anaerobic environment, can it be related to fermenting mold
and fungus? You bet!

Average pH Between 6 and 7
If your average pH is between 6 and 7 use Tamahi Calcium to build
up your total alkalinity along with other minerals and trace minerals.
Average pH Above 7
If your pH is above 7, add vitamin C (ascorbic acid). Clinicians have found
about 1000 mg twice a day of vitamin C is good, and the higher above pH 7 you go, the
more vitamin C you can take. Decrease the vitamin C when you come into range
between 6 and 7 and increase the Tamahi Calcium. Do not take vitamin D.
Average pH Below 6
If your pH is below 6, add more Tamahi Calcium and MMP Minerals. With pH
5.6 to 6 clinicians have found that adding 1000 IU of vitamin D once or twice a
day is beneficial and pH from 5.2 to 5.6 up to 5000 IU of vitamin D is good,
while pH below 5.0 up to 50000 IU of vitamin D once or twice a day would be OK
as little vitamin D is being absorbed in the acid terrain. You can use the
vitamin D to help push the pH up. Lower the Tamahi Calcium when you come into pH
range 6 to 7. Pull back on vitamin D and go to cod liver oil for vitamin D
requirements. Do not take vitamin C.
